Joanie Perron a sans contredit été l'une des candidates les plus controversées de l'édition 2017 d'Occupation Double, qui se déroulait à Bali. La jeune femme aux cheveux blond platine a fait énormément parler d'elle en raison de ses sautes d'humeur légendaires et du triangle amoureux qu'elle a formé avec Sansdrick et Phil. Au retour de l'aventure OD, plusieurs parlaient d'elle comme de la future Maripier Morin, puisqu'elle avait démontré qu'elle était capable de donner de l'excellente télévision.

On a moins entendu parler de la jeune femme au cours des derniers mois, elle qui a décidé de prendre du recul par rapport à la vie publique et au monde du show business québécois. Mais elle a fait plaisir à ses nombreux abonnés Instagram, mercredi, en publiant une photo où elle apparait sans le haut, dans sa salle de bain. Bien sûr, elle cache sa poitrine avec ses bras, mais Joanie a toujours prôné une image assumée et libre du corps de la femme, et elle prouve encore une fois qu'elle se sent belle, femme, et maître de son corps.
